Health

In August of 2010 I was diagnosed with PCOS: PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome. After the initial shock, this helped me to finally decide to take control of my body. My weight, eating habits, my attitudes towards food and exercise. I hope not only to lose weight, but ultimately to change my lifestyle to one that is healthy for the rest of my life.
In early 2011 my husband and I 'recovered' from dealing with lots of intense family drama and have gotten back on track with getting healthy. Now we're both working and are adapting our weight loss goals around having a chaotic schedule and focusing more on counting calories to eat less. We've also decided to treat this as a spiritual battle: spirit against flesh.
Now, in the summer of 2011, I'm back to blogging about these health struggles, both as a means of recording the journey, and to hold myself accountable. I hope to incorporate them more on blogspot, as well as my posterous blog  :Time To See Change
